Hello Qurblites,
This past Tuesday, May 19, 2009 I attended an event at Y.S.U.'s Debartolo Stadium Club for Women Entrepreneurs: Increase your Possibilities in Today's World. Now being a male a lot of people reading would kind of do a double take and think, "And you were there because?". Well the truth is it was a fantastic event and I got the chance to meet some very talented, motivated and.. I'll admit it beautiful women. The panelist were very insightful and just plain motivating for any entrepreneur or career oriented individual yet the prescense of men was almost non existent. Now some would say, "Duh!". Yet my reply would be what's the difference between a man in business and a woman in business. There truthfully is no difference, business is both challenging and demanding whether a man or woman. The only difference is the mental barriers that lie within the minds of each of us regarding the capabilities and limitations of different groups of people. These are put there by ourselves and society as a whole.
When I first heard about this event I didn't think, "Oh, women entrepreneurs so they'll be discussing why men make them sick, PMS and gossip this and gossip that". I thought, "Oh, a great networking opportunity for entrepreneurs AND there will be strong, motivated and passionate women, BONUS!" Hey, I'm a single guy, I'm just being honest. But seriously, business is business, and we need to stop looking at what divides us and start to focus on what we have in common. I have no way of quantifying the positive effect that being at this great event, that a lot of men may have blew off as a result of not wanting to go to a "girlie event" will bring in the future. But the one thing I can quantify is the amount of pleasure I recieved from hearing and seeing the success of these wonderful women right here in the Valley. So whether woman or man, brown or white, tall or short, know that at the end of the day we're all human just trying to figure it all out.
Best Wishes,

Qurble.com Transformation
Hello once again to all,
Well, it's been just over a week since U Gotta Eat switched over to QURBLE. When I told the restaurants and customers of the name change there is a general consensus of, "What! Huh?" followed by a puzzled look. Everyone ask, "What does it mean?" Well, the fact of the matter is, it doesn't have an official definition. You won't find the definition of QURBLE in any Webster's dictionary but, I'll explain what it means to me.
QURBLE: A online ordering and delivery service that combines the convenience of delivery with the ease of online ordering to allow customers the ability to fit more leisure into their day. Add a dash of fun, reliability and a cup of great customer service and the recipe is complete. Taste good don't it.
I wanted to improve the customer experience dramatically. I wanted to have fun while improving the customer experience too. So QURBLE was a chance for me to build the type of company I always imagined. Since there is no official definition for QURBLE there were no limitations and barriers on the type of company we could or should become. We have the rare chance to redefine the rules of customer service and how the company functions. The name QURBLE simply means: Freedom.
We are still getting everything transferred over as far as shirts, menu guides, flyers, etc but, should be complete within about 2 - 3 weeks. Look out for the ads on a billboard near you. Before I sign off I would like to remind you don't forget to bookmark the homepage for the new web specials we are offering along with new restaurants and features.
Enjoy your life,

Goodbye U Gotta Eat, Hello Qurble.com
Thanks for visiting the blog of Qurble.com,
Well as of May 01, 2009 U Gotta Eat: Restaurant Delivery Service has made the transition over to Qurble.com. As we looked back over the past year in business with everything that has happened with the economy and the world in general we decided that what the world needs now is more fun. Enough with the depressing news articles, we want to enjoy our time on the planet and have loads more fun because life is too short. So out of our need to have more fun and spread it to the world we came up with Qurble.com, our way of giving back to our customers and having a lot more fun while doing it.
Qurble.com is U Gotta Eat amped up time 10,000%. And rather than bore you with some dribble about what we're planning on doing, we'll just show you. We still have some cobwebs and kinks to work out on the new site and all the features are not up yet so please have a little patience and will work it all out for you. Stay tuned and enjoy.
